a weekly market update that anyone in the beef business can read + use.

Catching Up With The Cattle Market was established to deliver a weekly market newsletter designed for individuals in all different facets of beef production. Our goal is to provide concise, easy to read, and meaningful insight on the markets. We provide market updates on the fed cattle trade, boxed beef, cull cow/bull market, and feeder cattle trade across the country. Our hope is that you find the information helpful for you and your operation so you can stay current in all of the happenings in the market weekly.

all cattlemen

Our hope is that all involved in the industry are able to become further educated and knowledgeable on all things cattle and beef markets in order to make decisions for their operations. There are many different things that make the markets go up or go down, and we plan to cover those extensively each week.

what makes us different

Our newsletter will not be filled with highly technical, futures market based commentary. We want anyone in the industry to be able to read through our articles each week and learn something that they can apply to their operations. We saw the need to translate big picture market information to grassroots people in the cattle business and try to have them see how the different segments of the industry, all culminate into one and also how they act separately. Our newsletter covers national, and regional, market events and trends. We try to do all of the work to gather practical information for producers so they can do what they do best and that is raising quality beef.
